Abstract

This paper’s purpose is to emphasize the main background features considering the Korean military conflict from the early ’50 (1950-1953). Therefore, we will not look out for the military conflict development, but we will focus on the crisis itself, on its outbreak and its origins and on the attempts to solve the crisis by diplomatic settlements. We will also try to analyse the leading interests and the main goals of the actors involved and to indentify their conflict management strategies. On final analysis, by revealing the aftermath of the Korean War, we will measure the crisis management efficiency both for the individual actors involved and for the international environment.
