Abstract

The study analyses the Romanian Legation activity at London, in context of international events that have followed World War II, since 1946, when a Romanian Diplomatic Mission was set up, until 1948, when Romania has entered under the influence of the Soviet Union. Before the internal political changes in our country from 1948, the Romanian Legation’s main objectives were to restore diplomatic and commercial relations between Romania and Great Britain, but after the communist took over, Romanian Legation focused on Great Britain’s reactions towards new Romanian realities.
